About the process...Each child chose a traditional tale to adapt into his/her own version. In a cluster group, each child represented his/her adapted tale (or adaptation written as a group) with another art form.
The program had a 'festival' feeling, as there were different events happening at the same time. In addition to the presentation by each cluster group, each child's adapted tale was displayed on his/her table spot inside his/her classroom.
The rain caused a slight change in our plans, but it was a beautiful event and a wonderful way for students to share their learning!
